TENCEL (TM) fibers orginiate from trees - primarily birch, beech, spruce and eucalyptus. TENCEL (TM) is produced with an environmentally responsible process from substainably sourced natural raw wood fibers. TENCEL (TM) uses less toxic chemicals that are impressively 99% recycled in the production process. TENCEL (TM) is also biodegradeable. TENCEL (TM) uses 40% less non-renewable energy than cotton. TENCEL (TM) requires a lot less dye than cotton. It is pure white when produced so no bleaching is necessary. TENCEL (TM) has a beautiful sheen, drapes effortlessly and is wrinkle-resistant. TENCEL (TM) absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton and is a sweat-wicking material. Perfect for sensitive skin. TENCEL (TM) fibers are recognized for being breathable and keeping the skin cool.
